The picturesque town of Nessebar, located 20 km. north of Burgas and just 2 km. from the famous Sunny Beach resort, consists of two parts – the new city part and the old town. The old town of Nessebar is situated on a peninsula and impresses with its beauty, romance and calmness of the antique houses and churches. Being the successor of the ancient Thracian settlement called Mesambria, this is one of the oldest towns in Europe founded in the Second century AD. It is declared an architectural and archeological reserve in 1956 and in 1983 its cultural monuments are added to the UNESCO list as a world cultural heritage.
In the last 10 years Nessabar completely improved its aspect as a well developed resort, competitive with many traditional European holiday places. The complex features a well built and functioning infrastructure, wide beaches and great possibilities for sunbathing, diving and fishing, as good as big variety of restaurants, clubs and discos.

Veliko_TarnovoVeliko Tarnovo

(Bulgaria: Велико Търново, sometimes transliterated into the Great Tarnowo) the second capital of Bulgarian Empire, located  is in north-central Bulgaria, on the river Yantra and is an administrative region of Veliko Tarnovo. Because of its past, often referred to as "City of the Tsars" and thanks to its unique architecture and location on the slopes of the Cascade mountains in which the city is located every year it attracts many tourists from around the world.

Old Town is situated on three hills, Tsarvets, and Sveta Gora Trapezitsa. Tsarevets housed the emperors and palaces of the Bulgarian Patriarchate, as well as a number of administrative and residential buildings surrounded by thick walls, while Trapezitsa was known for its many churches and as a principal residence of the nobility. In the middle age the town was known as one of the main centers of European culture and the city's name was the name given to The Architecture of the Tarnovo Artistic School, painting and literature, in the years 1185-1396.

Rila-MonasteryRila Monastery (Bulgaria: Рилски манастир, Rilski Manastir), also known as the Rila Monastery of St. Ivan is the biggest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. It lies in south-western Rila Mountains, 117 km (73 miles) south of the capital, in a deep valley at an altitude of Rilska 1147 m (3763 ft) above sea level. The name comes from the famous monastery of the Bulgarian hermit saint Ivan of Rila.

The monastery was founded in the tenth century and is considered as one of the most important cultural monuments in Bulgaria, both historical and architectural interest, as well as a key tourist attraction, both in Bulgaria and South-Eastern part of Europe as a whole. The monastery was shown on the reverse of the banknote a Bulgarian lion, issued in 1999

Veliko_TarnovoSozopol

Located 34 km south of Bourgas on a slender rocky peninsula, Sozopol is one of the earliest towns on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and dates from 2,610 years ago. Today Sozopol is a popular beach resort best known for its casual ambience, sandy beaches, and distinctive 19th century stone and wood houses, some 45 of which are national cultural monuments. Tourists from around the world come to enjoy its weather, history and culture, cuisine and atmosphere. It is also known for the Apollonia art and film festival which takes place in early September. The increasing popularity of the town has led to it being dubbed the Bulgarian St. Tropez.
